Both sides need to trust the deal
Sponsors need to know the event is real and the banner will go up. Organizers need to know the money is there. Here's how Standfield handles both.
Organizer verification
Before a listing goes live we check the organizer's identity and payout account through our payment partner, confirm the event exists (venue booking, permit, league or school affiliation, or past-event evidence), and review the attendance claims. Verified listings carry the ✓ badge.
Sponsor verification
Sponsors confirm their business identity and payment method before making offers. Sponsors in regulated categories (alcohol, cannabis, gambling, firearms, political) go through extra review and are limited to eligible, age-appropriate events.
Held payments
Sponsor payments are collected by a licensed payment processor and held until fulfillment is approved. Standfield never asks anyone to pay outside the platform. If someone does, report them.
Disputes
Sponsors have 7 days after proof is uploaded to approve it or open a dispute. We review the agreement and the evidence, propose a make-good or a partial refund, and decide within 10 business days if the two sides can't agree.
Youth events
Listings for events where most participants are under 18 are marked as youth events. Alcohol, tobacco, vape, cannabis and gambling sponsors are automatically blocked from them, and sponsor creative is reviewed before it's printed.
Honest numbers
Organizers must say how they counted attendance. Listings that repeatedly overstate their numbers lose the verified badge. Post-event reports show real scan and click counts next to the claims.
